We are delighted to announce that our next production will be JACK & THE BEANSTALK, written by Lawrence Pickup.​ The show will take place at MADS Theatre, Lord Street, Macclesfield on 7 - 10th January 2026.

TO AUDITION, YOU MUST ATTEND THE PRE-AUDITION INFORMATION MEETING BEING HELD ON TUES, 9TH SEPT @ 7PM AT PRESTBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL.
AT THE INFORMATION EVENING WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH THE AUDITION MATERIALS AND BOOKING SLOTS AND WILL ALSO PROVIDE A SYNOPSIS OF THIS YEAR'S SHOW AND CHARACTERS (NB: ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT).

Prestbury Youth
Pantomime Association
Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association welcomes young performers and adult helpers to help stage an annual pantomime performed in January each year.
​
​Set up as an amateur musical theatre group for young people in school years 7 to 13, the association is now in its 45th successful year.
​
Auditions for the show are held each September and those who have yet to tread the theatre boards are welcomed as much as experienced performers and stage-hands. However, reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and work with others is required.
Our Founder
Gerry Porter started the wonderful Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association in 1978 and it has been bringing joy and laughter to cast, crew and audiences alike ever since. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in every pantomime we perform.
Thank you Gerry, missed but never forgotten.
